Bone Protection - Gammon Shank Caps

For over 15 years, Scobie & Junor has developed bone protection solutions to meet the demands of vacuum packing bone-in meat products. Our range reduces packaging costs by minimising leakers and targeting protection where it’s needed. Made from durable 220mu and 440mu polyethylene (PE), our caps offer puncture resistance, withstand boil temperatures up to 100°C, and are available in clear, gold, silver, black, and green, with custom colours on request. PE-based and waterproof, they won’t absorb liquid, and clear caps become nearly invisible when vacuum packed, enhancing product appearance. Easy to apply, they reduce leakers and rework time.
