RECIPES - OLYMPICS SUPER 6 - GREECE

The Paris Olympics are on between Fri 26th July - Sun 11th August 2024.

To help give you some promotional ideas for the Olympics - and to help you create a buzz for your customers, Scobies have created six recipes for you - our Olympics Super 6 Recipes. one of which is for Greece:

Greek Truffle Shuffles

In keeping with the Olympics origins, Scobies have created a Mediterranean delight, guaranteed to catch your customers attention.

Recipe:
Using delicious minced lamb, make truffles with the Kofta burger recipe:

To make a 1Kg batch of lamb burger:
use Kofta Burger Mix 1Kg pack (Product ID: SE311340) 100g (10%)
Lamb (80/20 VL) 800g (80%)
Iced water 100g (10%)

Mince the lamb through a 5mm plate. Add seasoning and mix.
Add water and mix again.
Re-mince through 5mm plate.
Form the burger mix into Truffles and fill with a little Scobie’s Tomato Sauce (Product Code: MM13302T), peas and feta.
Coat the truffle in Greek Desire Marinade (Product Code: MM12631).
Decorate with a sprig or Fresh Rosemary and Thyme (optional).
